We did not know,
There was Silence!
We did drink the water,
There was Silence!
We heard the screams when the babies eternally dreamed,
There was Silence!
They watched the ambulances roar,
There was Silence!
They saw the tears of mother’s and fathers as the caskets lower,
There was Silence!
Embryos, fetuses, deformed children, buried, hidden many deep, one headstone asleep,
There was Silence!
The fortunate to survive, to fight, sick mid life,
There has been Silence!
Decades of lies, and they knew,
There was, has, and IS Silence!
NO MORE!
